Macaulay offers transfer opportunities for students enrolled in associate degree programs at CUNY.
Associate degree students who meet GPA, enrollment, and other qualifications may apply to Macaulay through the Friedman Transfer Scholars Program. At this time, Friedman is the only transfer opportunity available at Macaulay.
Students who are accepted to the Friedman Transfer Scholars Program (and in earlier years, the Bridge Scholars Program) will complete a 6-credit summer program between their first and second years at community college to complete Macaulay Seminars 1 and 2. They then enroll in Seminars 3 and 4 while completing their associate degrees. Students enroll in these courses using a CUNY ePermit. Read more about Macaulay's NYC Seminars.
Upon successful completion of the Macaulay seminars and associate degree, students will enter Macaulay Honors College as juniors. Eligible students will then receive the Macaulay Tuition Scholarship and be able to access Opportunities Funds. Macaulay GPA and graduation requirements apply, with community service reduced for the academic years prior to entering Macaulay.
