TIME TO DEGREE 

Macaulay students are expected to maintain full-time enrollment for four continuous academic years that include the fall and spring semesters. We recognize, however, that some students encounter circumstances that prevent this. Students may therefore request the following enrollment status changes using the Change of Enrollment Status form. Consult with your advisor before requesting any enrollment status change. 

ENROLLMENT STATUS CHANGES 

Part-Time Status  

In exceptional circumstances, such as an acute medical condition, you may be granted permission to take a lighter course load. After consulting with your Advisor, request permission using the Enrollment Status Change Form. 

Leave Of Absence  

In exceptional circumstances, such as an acute medical condition, you may be granted a leave of absence from Macaulay Honors College (participation in an approved study abroad program does not constitute a leave of absence). After consulting with your advisor, request permission using the Enrollment Status Change Form.  

Extended Time to Graduation  

Permission is required to extend your studies beyond four years for any reason other than previously approved enrollment status changes. After consulting with your advisor, request permission using the Enrollment Status Change Form.
